Particle Size Analyzers

The LB-550, using a dynamic light scattering technique, is able to measure very concentrated suspensions, up to 40% solids in many cases, over a size range of 1nm-6µm, The modern algorithm and optical design make measurement of fine particles fast, easy, and reliable.
The DT-1200, using acoustic and electroacoustic spectrometry, is able to measure very concentrated suspensions, up to 50 vol%, providing both particle size and zeta potential analysis. All material types can be measured.
The CAMSIZER, using digital image processing, measures 30µm-30mm, while also providing shape measurement. The high-resolution analysis provides greater information about the sample material and an increased understanding of the behavior of the material in the process.

The LA-series instruments use Mie Scattering (laser diffraction) to measure particle size of suspensions or dry powders. The speed and ease-of-use of this technique makes it the most popular for many applications. Three models are offered depending on the size range and features required:

Partica LA-950
The new full-range model with the greatest capabilities of any laser diffraction instrument on the market, measuring 0.01-3000µm, with unmatched speed, accuracy and precision. A wide range of sample handling systems are available to optimize the system to the user's application.

LA-930
Our previous full-range analyzer, measuring 0.02-2000µm, iin a fully automated system allowing one-button operation.

LA-300
Compact, portable, and affordable, the LA-300 measures 0.1-600µm to cover a wider spectrum of applications at a lower cost than the full range models. The compact size also makes it attractive for applications that require a portable analyzer, such as spot checks at customer sites or at various points around the manufacturing facility.
